So this is the story..

I applied from my University here in Mexico, www.itesm.mx. to get transfered to the MIT, last february. They said yes, NOW the only problem is that I honestly can't afford it.

They gave me a scholarship, but I honestly don't like the offer, (((universities here in Mexico are real cheap compared to the Americans)), SO my quest to find a scholarship began. I just started asking and the MIT recommended me to ask the wealthy texas' oil companies, because my major is ChemE (chemical engineering with a minor in industrial engineering).

So this is a serious question, if you know someone that I can get in touch with, to end my career in the MIT I would really appreciate it, and maybe I can work my dept out later. ((Please I would send sexy senoritas.))

If not, thanks anyway.

I just don't want to accept the "agreement" that the MIT is working with me.

Honestly, it's easier for a non-American to get accepted for grants in America than it is for Americans. What we do here is apply for EVERYTHING, and hope to get accepted for something. That's about all you can do. There are many books out there on this subject.

Google it.

Start with college scholarships and then work your way to specific scholarships based on what you find. You can find thousands of scholarships on the web. That's why I'm not paying to go to college, I'm being paid to get my degree.

if you cant find an american scholorship for it. ask you local professors about how mexico can pay for it. foriegn governments love it when there students are educated in america, and MIT is by far one of the best. maybe they can help you out

If you know any of your instructors, contact them. They should be able to help you with that.

Go to Barnes and Nobles and grab a book on scholarships. They list how and where to apply for hundreds of them. Also, depending on what state you live in, you may have a nonprofit org that will help you. In Texas, it's http://www.texasscholarships.org

If one of your parents were in a certain profession, you may be able to apply that way. I know that they have scholarships for people who have nurses or EMTs as parents.

Also...Look up different oil companies. A lot of them have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars for PE purposes. http://www.conocophillips.com/careers/U ... /index.htm is an example.
