Post Hotlinking problem.
For some reason, as of late I have been unable to hotlink on forums using the [img]and[/img] tags.

When I attempt to hotlink, it turns out like this:

Any ideas?

I run FireFox 2.0 if that is necessary.

Maybe it is just the link because I tried using that link and it didn't work than I pulled some random things off the internet and they worked.

Ryan is correct. In order to use the img tag, the url has to end with an image type file. .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc.

when you the link from imageshack or photobucket, as tucker said, it needs to end with the filetype extension (.jpg .gif .bmp etc...)

Just look for the correct URL before copying it

Use the 'Direct Image' link it gives you, and none other, or you'll have problems. It's the one on the very bottom.
