Ok so I have a nvidia Geforce 5200 fx. Its been a good card and we have done some good pwning together but I think it is time to move on to bigger and better things. The prob Im having is that my comp is old and has just regular ol pci slots. I havnt really been able to find anything better then the card I currently have. Is there anything out there that is better? Ive looked at newegg and tigerdirect and everthing seems to be pci express X16. I want 100fps all the time damnit. help?

Your motherboard has no AGP slots?


This will be good for now, and for the future also (physics!). But it is a little pricey, and a lot of games don't even require the physics of this card yet.

that first card has some bad reviews Ive looked at those already, I want something that some ppl have talked good about, they say that card is to hi tech. My card now is going to shit the fan has gotten real lous and sometimes my fps drops down to 12 and I can barley move in cz

I have a PCI card laying around here. I'll look up the stats on it and maybe I can mail it to you if it's up to code. I doubt I have the drivers for it, but you can download those anywhere.

Your fu-ck-ed.Get a new motherboard and a card that will be a upgrade otherwise your just chasing bad money with good.And a physics card will not display graphics,its meant to process more physics in game.It was designed to be used along side a high end video card.About the only game that uses ageias physics card is Ghost recon advanced war fighter and pci card that you would be forced to use on that motherboard wont run that game.

Just in case you didnt know, Physics cards hook up to your graphics card. They're not stand alone.
