ok so over the past 2 weeks or so i have been getting alot of lag spikes. when my ping is "normal" its around 23 or so, but lately its been jumping up to around 200 every few seconds. i dont know why its happening, im guessing part of it has to do with my school's internet connection, but when i was connect to the same thing last month my ping was lower than it is now. oh and im also getting some loss on a regular basis.
anybody have any bright ideas. my rate is 75000 and thats all i remember right now

rate is too high try 35000
and look into seeing if your school can open up ports and ips (so ask one of the tech people) and have them add the noobfest ip(s) to the allowed connections. i had a problem with vent for the fist cople months i was at school untill i asked them to add the vent ip to the list and im doing good now, i could also ask them to add the noobfest servers but im to lazy and i get decent enough ping to them as is...
if thats not it then peopel are just eating up all the bandwith at your school so in other words your hosed
