Bandito, I agree with you completely. I haven't been here as long as most of you. But one of the reasons I liked this server and the people in it and such. Is the fact that it isn't a real clan. I mean I've seen other clans before and they all in my opinion take the game way to seriously sometimes. I mean this game is just that, a game. And what I liked about SANF was the fact that the people don't take it like life and death and always scrim and that crap. It's more of a "have a good time and tlak with some people" thing. I mean I like a little competition every once in awhile. Which is where the tourneys come. I see SANF as more of a hanging out sort of thing even.

This place is exaclty what you make of it....we are a community....we are a place to hang out and have fun....a place to compete....a place to talk trash....a place to learn new words - RETURD - basically...this is a place to call home....we're all here to have fun and play a few games....I hear someone likes scrabble.....but other then that....no...I don't consider SANF a clan....we do have a few indavidual clans within SANF...and I'd like to see a few more pop up....but here....right here on these forums....we have people anywhere from Right-Wing Nut Jobs.....to Liberal pu$$y's.....we all fit in as long as we know were here to have a good time!!

I used to belong to the greatest gaming clan ever. They were called Clan Chowder. We had a great time when we played. We would TK each other in the spawn before the match started, in a race to see who could get the biggest negative score. We would laugh so hard during the match that we could hardly play. It was hilarious.

We were 1-13 on OGL. But it was the best times ever.

People wanted to join like crazy because we scrimmed and played OGL matches frequently, and we always had a good time.

Then the unspeakable happened. We started winning. Then we cared. Big mistake. We worked our way to the championship on one ladder, and up to the top 10 on OGL (we might have gotten as high as 3 but I don't remember for sure).

It wasn't fun anymore. It was work. And when we lost, we blamed ourselves, our players, and got pissed about it. But there was no turning back. How do you go back to losing games after being so high up the chain? How do you force yourself to have fun again?

Picking random teams for tounaments and not practicing much will ensure there's no time to form any long-term goals or winning strategies. It's always gonna be a last minute scramble with 4 retards on your team. That's the part that will keep it entertaining and stress-free forever. In all probability, your team will only suck for this tournament. Next time, it's a whole new ball game.

Yeah Corpse. That's how the tourney was for our team. I remember we may have won a bit but I remember our team laughing a lot more than that. That's one of the reasons I joined the next tourney is to have another good time of laughing and just enjoying the moment not taking it seriously. i mean if I wanted to take it seriously I probably wouldn't suck as much as I do.

I think in time we may have quote on quote clans spawn from [SANF]. such as the existing clan of K&C. I am just using that one for example. SANF is not a clan per say just like aA. GNG etc. You earn this tag by being a long standing particpating member of our community. When you earn that tag it means you have been excepted as a member who is loyal and you don't act like a fool all the time. The vote is in place so that only ppl who deserve to wear the tag get it. Remember, we don't base our membership on ur CS skills like other clans do. If we did I damn sure wouldn't have made the cut.

So, in short I agree with messcan. These are only my views and not those of the rest of the members, but I don't think I'm off to far.
