The reason I haven't played that much in the past month is because my headset stopped working. The sound works, but usually I could hear if people were coming from the left, right, or whatever. Now, all the sound goes into both speakers, so I can't tell anymore. I know Weedman, Nosferatu, and Demon, and I'm pretty sure Angry Kitten tried to help me. So, I decided to post in here and see if anyone else could help me. :(

Well, what kind of sound card do you have?

Also, put your headphones on correctly, I had a friend who got messed up because his headphones were on backwards, so, sound from the right came out of the left speaker.

Figure out whether it's CS, your sound card, or your headphones:

Open winamp or another media player that lets you adjust balance. Put your headphones on and pull the sound to the left and right and see if you hear it adjust accordingly.

If it does, then your CS is the problem.

If it doesn't, then try another set of headphones. If the other headphones work, then your headphones are fubar.

If the other headphones don't work, your sound card sucks.
