Check and see if the ones he is blocked from have the port 27015. If he is, try some servers that don't have the port 27015 (try 27016-27020) or some shit.

try direct connecting i have shit like this happen when im on wireless but when i hook up an ethernet cord works perfect.

Turns out it's in fact his wireless router.
Need guidance on how to make it allow port 27015. He can get on all servers on his downstairs piece of shit computer, so, can somebody help me/him fix his router up so he can join 27015 servers?
