ok im tired of not being able to use the in-game voice and be on vent at the same time. if i load cs first, it will load vent but it tells me that i can not use voice because its in use by another application. and if i load vent first and try to use the in-game talk it just doesnt work. im stuck :( any sugestion would be nice, and i am using soundblaster live.

You must have the same key binded for talk in both vent and in cs. Bind to different keys for talk and both should work.

or an old soundcard

When you have Ventrilo open, do a ctrl-alt-del, go to Processes, right click 'ventrilo.exe', and set priority > high.

This might help.

It means you need to open ventrillo first because its reading the first voice program.

yeah no of that works... i have 2 diff keys binded, it dont matter witch i open first, and i have set the priority to high. but it is and old sound card so mindless might be right
