Post subject:  Obama's Foreign Policy

In a remarkable announcement today by the DNC, Barack Obama is going to demonstrate his foreign policy prowess by flying to the warzone of the conflict between Russia and Georgia.

Obama has directed that a team of his key advisors
accompany him into dangerous territory, in hope of brokering a peace settlement between the two sides. His aircraft is expected to touch down in Atlanta at 0430Z, and it will be accompanied by seven other aircraft containing reporters from CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, and Pravda. In a brief interview before boarding his airplane, Obama said that he will set up operations in Atlanta and will invite Colonel General Anatoly Nagovitsyn of the Russian General Staff to meet him there for talks. Obama went on to say that, in a spirit of inclusiveness, he would agree that Russia could have part of Georgia --- Savannah, Brunswick, and perhaps as far inland as Macon and Valdosta . However, with his chin firmly set, Obama strongly declared that he would never give up Georgia west of I-75, but east of I-75 is open and negotiable in order to save Georgia from itself.

lmfao.

You think I give a F*CK about whether you hate Obama because he's black or not?

Also Joe, Canadian's opinions should matter because things you do end up F*CKING with us. You go over to the Middle East, bitch and whine about how Canadians aren't helping your conquest so you get more pieces each turn (Risk reference, a game of global domination) when it was actually Canadian Peacekeepers that were over there in the first place or start your F*CKING dumb ass posts about how you just need to blow it up or how I'm lying or how I'm biased, shut the F*CK up because I will actually just remove them.

First off, I'm a citizen of Switzerland, as well as Canada.

Secondly, my opinion were it presented by another gun-toting drunkard would be cheered on by you F*CKING "Yes-Men."

So I honestly don't give a damn if you think that I can't approach the issue at hand because chances are I know a lot more about the U.S. and it's history than a lot of you or your kids.

Look at it this way; Durango and I have agreed and disagreed on a lot of your political issues. I however don't flame and just call him a faggot-fucking retard because he thinks differently than I do.

What that is, is playing to the dumbass shoot-em-up texan redneck drunk American stereotype, which suffice it to say, you've done EXCELLENTLY.

I have spent most of my life as a Democrat. I recently have seen fit to follow another course. I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines.

I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent's youth and inexperience. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_04

First - Bakie - heads up, I hate you.

Second - Apok - Canadians, Swissish, and Swissnadians (or even anyone who isn't a U.S. citizen) are not citizens of the United States by definition of the United States Constitution and get no say in our elections. Bitch all you want, but you don't get to vote, so you don't get any say.

I'm sad.

I like the concept of lower taxes and a stronger private sector economy.

Upper class taxes should be reduced to drive more money into the economy.

Corporate taxes have to be tempered to create a balance. Too high and we drive inflation. Too low and we crippled small companies' ability to compete (because the larger companies can leverage their buying power to crush the competition).

The middle class should carry a mid-range tax burden (some would call it bearing their fare share).

Unfortunately, if I want a strong private sector and reasonable taxes with minimal government interferance, I have to ALSO accept the following:
Abortion should be illegal
Everyone has the right to own an armory of weapons
Homosexuality is illegal
... and a host of other personal choice issues regarding morals, community, and family.

Why can't my neighbors live their lives and do what they like regarding their bodies while I still enjoy a "smart" tax code for the country.

On the flip side, if I support personal freedom, I have to give up my guns and allow my children to be taught that being "gay" is perfectly normal and acceptable (and encouraged). I also have to accept that some people just don't want to work for a living and will have to be supported 100% by the rest of us and we can never ask them to do anything that makes them feel bad or less worthy than the rest of us.

Why have we linked personal freedom and financial responsibility in this way? Why can't I have low taxes and freedom at the same time? Why can't I allow my fellow citizens to live their lives as they choose without giving them a hug and calling them my "equals"?

The only thing I can think of that would be worse than this? Living in Canada.
