He picked a chick for Vice President! What a freakin n00b! It's already been proven that we don't want a woman in the white house. GAWD! What I don't understand is why, after a campaign based on little more than Obama's inexperience, he would pick a VP who has a total of 2 years of government experience. And governor of ALASKA? Wow. He's not doing himself any favors going into the debates. She's only dealt with one major issue in office so far and that was a veto on a bill that would allow fags to share benefits. There's what, 4 or 5 gays in Alaska? This election is going to be won on the economy, and the best choice to fill that role would have been that magic undies fruitcake Romney. I hope they have VP debates. She's never been on the big stage before and Biden can be a beast. I'm really looking forward to the Presidential debates though. McCain gets flustered easily and Obama is so much better at public speaking. It should make for lulz.

It might be a shallow way of trying to get the disgruntled Hilary fans to vote for McCain instead of Obama though (OMG HE HAZ A GIRL VP!! THAT'S A GUD THING!), other than that I don't know. I can't wait to see the presidential debates as well, it should be fun :) .

Just because she was not mayor of New York does not mean her experience as mayor is invaluable. Especially since Obama’s main self-described qualification is as an entry-level “community organizer” Granted, her experience is only several years greater Obama's, but she does have executive experience, while Obama has zero executive experience. But the vice-president is someone supposed to be able to step into the presidency. Look at recent history. Reagan had been in office less than 3 months before someone tried to kill him. Ford had been in office a little over a year when someone tried to kill him. FDR was 4 months into his term with a new vice-president when he died. In any of those cases, can anyone honestly say that a Vice-President Palin would have been able to step in a lead the country? I don't know. There is absolutely nothing in her background to indicate that she could. Maybe she would rise to the occasion. Maybe she wouldn't. Picking someone with such a thin resume is a valid question. And I guarantee you it will be a question that is asked over the course of the campaign. but I would much prefer her to Biden. He's prone to shooting from the hip, runs off at the mouth, lies about his credentials, and has no executive leadership. Palin does have executive leadership and seems to be an honest, hard-working lady with a knack for getting things done. I also like the fact that she's not from DC. While some may see this as a liability, it's a plus for me. Finally, she's much better looking than Biden! There is a real difference between the #1 slot having no experience and the #2 having none. I think that the selection of Palin is symbolic and used to excite the Conservatives. The dims have it backwards. #1 has no experience and their #2 has a lot. Like most things they do, they do backwards. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_31
