Anything with "core" in it tends to make me cringe. Let the kiddies listen to the stupid hardcore spinoff genres while us adults listen to the real m3t4l. No offense, hombre.

It's cool, i dont turn white hot over other's opinion, any screaming type shit you'd recommend? I listen to Suicide Silence/Kill switch Engage but i need moar
Also classic rock is welcome (Jimi Hendrix, Zepplin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc.)

THRASH METAL, love it, its what got me into metal/rock. I like some hair bands like ZZ Top, Death metal? closest thing i can think of is Suicide Silence, Progressive Metal i kinda list that with some of Metallica's new stuff i guess. But i'm open to most metal, Doom metal tho? No thanks. I listen to S.O.D., 'Tallica, Dillinger Escape Plan, Nirvana (some grunge).
BUT if anyone gots some good ol' screamo, but no emo pu$$y shit, I'd check that shit out immediately.

ZZ Top arent hair metal. Hair metal or Hair bands as they're called would be bands like Dokken, Ratt, Bulletboys, Slaughter, Motley Crue, Steelheart, Enuff Z Nuff, Lynch Mob, Bang Tango, Britney Fox. Most of these bands were popular in the 1980s and early 1990s. For progressive metal i would suggest bands like Dream Theater, Symphony X, Vanden Plas, Fates Warning, Angra. These are Progressive Metal Bands. For death metal bands i would suggest Nile, Pestilence, Carcass, Cynic, Death, Morbid Angel. So you're not a fan of doom metal there are some really cool bands that play doom metal like Cathedral, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Black Sabbath can't forget them they're the forefathers of metal.

Yeah, ZZ Top is more of a bluesy type of rock, not really metal per-se.

The only reason you'd talk about their hair is because they have massive beards lol.

lul felt stupid as F*CK yesterday for the ZZ top thing but i think the reason i named them metal is because metal is a connected to blues but w/e my bad F*CK up. Holy F*CK Black Sabbath is death metal? i always thought of them as just Heavy metal but alright nvm I'll give doom metal another chance.

So i was checking out Death's Painkiller great song, instantly loved the band once the song began, F*CKING enduring metal, but i also discovered Sodom. From what I've looked up they're a Thrash metal band and Black metal, anyone got any good Thrash Metal bands? Would be much appreciated
