Hell, I couldn't wait anymore to hear a little sample of what the new album (coming out in september) will sound like! Glad to hear that it will sound as much progressive as it used to do with Portnoy! Definitely not their best song, but it's a real good song that only them can play as good as this!
Tell me what you think of it. I'm not waiting for an album like metropolis pt 2 or even images and words, but I'm sure it'll be a real eargasm and it'll have the exact same progressive sound they have in their other albums with Portnoy.

I think it's awesome. It's kinda commercial, but DT always releases commercial stuff first, like when the released Rite of Passage. I'm pretty excited for the new album myself

I really hope that this is the case with this album (that On the Backs of Angels is just their commercial single and the rest of the album is like Images and Words, Awake, Metropolis Pt. 2 or Six Degrees). Because I want the old Dream Theater back, this song disappointed me...

I completely totally agree. If Dream Theater comes out with something bland, I'm going to be angry. THEY'RE F*CKING DREAM THEATER!!! They better not disappoint or I'm going to be one angry fan.
