Woo me somewhat playing the piano decently! I make mistakes here and there but I felt like sharing it with you guys so here it is! Me playing the first half of Beethoven's Pathetique Sonata. (and i recorded in 720p :D)

Dude... this is the 2nd video that you posted of you playing piano where we have to look AT THE DAMN WALL THE WHOLE TIME. LOL. Sounds very very very well done. You're obviously well-practiced.

God you suck with a camera. Record your hands playing instead, and try playing the Chopin's first ballade.. It's my favorite classical piece!!

Yeah the video blows but I tried getting it at my hands before but my phone just falls over :/ I kinda feel like if i had it so you could see my hands I'm pretty sure the sound would be really bloated but idk I'll have to try again. Thanks for the compliment mega I dont really practice as much as I used to but I was feeling it yesterday and it sounded good so i was like hmm I'll record and see how it goes. I really want hand video though cuz I love watching other musicians hands but I'm gonna have to probably wait till I get my DSLR and tripod to get it lookin good for yall

Reborn, I'm more proud than you think. Its awesome that you're starting out on the musical path. Good form on piano. You should start either playing with a pick on guitar or with your fingers instead of just your thumb, though. POST MORE and hit me up if you want my help in anything guitar-related.

Nigga if you have an ear for music it's not difficult to pick up the correct notes in any song. it may take a few hours to figure out but it's fun and worth it cause you memorize it faster and it helps you remember the sound each note makes which will make it a shit ton easier to learn by ear in the long run.

Oh yeah, Chopin's chords are easy stuff, just have a good ear and listen to 5 notes chords and it should do it, if you can't hear correctly every chords in a few hours, you're a pu$$y.

Btw Luff, I never knew you had that much of a musical talent.. It's not because Mozart could play melodies right after hearing them that it's that easy. My percussion teacher that is one of the best vibraphone players in Quebec can't rewrite an entire ballade or melody of any composer within' a couple of days, or weeks. Musicsheets aren't for pussies, they are there to lead you to what basically the composer meant to say. There again, it only leads you to the basics. Also, FYI, you don't need to have a perfect ear to be a good musician. Gary Burton sucks at knowing which note is which. Heck, he can't even write what he plays (he told it in one of his tipn'tricks video for the vibe) because it's too complex and it's still only 4 notes chords. I think he's doing pretty good anyway.

I never said anything about having to have a perfect ear to be a musician, great asset? F*CK yes. I never said rewrite an entire piece. You can figure chords out fairly fast if you do have a good ear and know your chords etc. Yes learning an entire classical piece on any instrument by ear is F*CKING hard because of how technical it is. Yet learning to do it is F*CKING amazing. I don't use chords on my instrument. I can figure out 9 minute long trumpet songs within 40 minutes just from listening. I don't find it that hard to learn shit by ear. I can't say I've done it for piano because right now I'm the shittiest pianist known to man. If I ever get good at piano. bleep good at it I will prove to you that figuring out something by ear isnt hard for me. I wont rewrite the piece cause I cant put music on paper for the life of me.

Oh well if you're talking about being good at hearing single notes everytime and figuring out the rhythm and all that crap, then F*CK, of course it isn't as hard as many other instruments. Figuring out chords though is a lot harder. When you need to hear the bass note, then the highest note, then what's the distance between notes, then the variation of it, it's a lot harder than simply knowing the chord at the begining of the song, then just calculate the distance between the notes by singing it or playing it on your instrument.

Needing a music sheet is not a bad thing, really not. Developping your ear isn't a bad thing either, but it takes a shitton of time to master, trust me, I'm learning all that stuff by professionals at school.
