 Re: Power Metal Fans
Iced Earth is good, but I usually think power metal is a little too corny for my tastes. The most powerish metal I listen to is a much more prog band than power metal... they're called Symphony X (they're on-par with Dream Theater, imho).

 Re: Power Metal Fans
I like all those bands especially Dio and Hammerfall. Iced Earth are good my favorite albums from them are Something Wicked This Way Comes and Dark Saga. Dream Evil are pretty good the first three albums are very good. Check out these bands Primal Fear, Rhapsody of Fire, Nightwish, Gamma Ray, Blind Guardian, Firewind, Stratovarius, Axel Rudi Pell, Sonata Artica, Angel Dust, and for amazing guitar shredding Dragonforce.

 Re: Power Metal Fans
I thought they were pretty good live when I saw them, but their guitarists, many times, play much too fast to be taken seriously (and their playing sometimes goes to total shit when they play fast). The album stuff is insanely good, but IT ALL SOUNDS THE SAME, ALBUM AFTER ALBUM...

 Re: Power Metal Fans
idc how good the albums are, when you can't play live, when you can't enjoy paying a F*CKING ticket to see stone fucks on stage not even able to play their own songs, i mean, i can't enjoy an album when i know they can't really play what im listening at... that just pisses me off

 Re: Power Metal Fans
That's how blink 182 was until their 100th reunion when they decided to start rehearsing. Also, I know that's not a good example seeing how easy that music is to make fun of.

 Re: Power Metal Fans
I havent seen a metal band in concert, i prefer the classic rock guys in concert so far, so anyway if you had to make a list what would be you guys' top 10 lists be? I'll probably be checking out these bands to expand my library.
