I heard just like I swear you not 20 minutes ago...sad F*CKING day.
While not as major as Dio, this is the second death this Spring that is very somber; for those who are fans of Type O Negative haven't heard that last month Singer/Bassist Peter Steele died last month.
Dio's death comes in sad timing as the project he was working with, Heaven and Hell, was on full stride for being an auto classic.

Man, that's the first time I've seen Type O Negative mentioned in a very long time.
Well, they stayed pretty low key and never were like everywhere compared to a lot of bands like them (though really none were like them).
Type O was kind a taste that had to be desired cause when I first listened to them I couldn't stand Pete's vocals, the monotone didn't really hit me well, it was two year laters, about a year after their Dead Again album that I got hooked.
