As many of you know, Im in the Army stationed in Germany. My one good friend in my unit is on suicide watch and I had a talk with him to find out why he's so down and he finally told me. Apparently he hacked into his wifes yahoo and email and seen where she had been sending nude photos and flirting with guys, I even think he said he saw something that related to her recently meeting with one of them. I feel bad for dude because his kids are his life...but he wont confront her!! They live in housing a few roads over. What do you guys think, should I pull her to the side and give her the lowdown that he knows? I dont want dude to lose rank and get into any trouble, besides...he's my beer buddy lol.

I honestly don't know what to say. If it was me, I'd probably be going to jail for killing some people...but, yeah...I don't know.

After gathering enough evidence to prove to a certainty, make sure he's the one to file the claim and get a good lawyer.

Back in the day my dad cheated on my mom, but had a better lawyer and filed the claim so he got absolutely everything except me and my brothers, which he didn't request.

Sorry to hear about your friend man. Been there done that. If he wants to do shit right, tell him to get legal counsel for the Judge Advocate that is located at your base. They won't really be able to do anything for him except give him advice because they consider it a civilian matter if his wife is a civilian. If he can pull it off, tell him to ask a lawyer if he could get a warrant for his wifes e-mails so that if he does get copies of them they will be legit in court. Now seeing that you are in a different country, especially one that doesn't really like the US that much it might be hard for him to get good representation. If I were you I would tell your boy to just sit back and do shit descretely. Tell him to make it a surprise if he really wants to get back at the bitch.

To answer the question about what's yours is mine, doesn't fly in the court of law. Trust me, my ex-wife tried pullin that shit and it didn't work. That shit only applies if you have gotten shit while married. What you bring into the relationship is yours and only yours.

Before skipping to legal action or pulling out the guns he should do some research into exactly what steps he needs to approach this. Does he want to save this marriage? How will he manage to ensure he still sees the kids if this goes to court? If you talk to her and he doesn't, how does he explain he could talk to his best friend and not his own wife, let alone hacking into her account. A job in the military is hard on the family. I would recommend him seeing the UHRA or some officer who can help. Shit like this happens when you are in the military. It is good to know that you are willing to stick out your neck for your friend. I just hope it works out in the end...
