It was BBORING! It never gave me the things i wanted.. But now you can actually PVP and LVL thats F*CKING awesome! and The new classes are sick

I've been watching blizzcon on streaming. Sounds good, but Pre-TBC > ALL still.

i dont like the new class of deaqth knight, way to many ppl play it, i mean when i went into pvp at lvl 50 my whole team was Dk's. it annoys me that they start at 55 with all tear 2 items and its just another way for some 10 year old to get something that he didnt earn...with all that bitching said...over all i like WOTLK and i am gonna buy it when i hit lvl 70

I've Emulated Pre-TBC,TBC, WOTLK Alpha, WOTLK, and I plan on getting ahold of Cat Alpha aswell. I'm kind of excited lol

I really enjoy Goblin racial skills.

The only issue with them is that the rocket boot and launcher shares same cooldown but I can see why.

i actualy did quit wow because i was sick of the direction it was going (despite the threats of no sex if i diddnt raid with my gf...gamer girls are F*CKING weird). i remember playing when there was no honor system, when you raided ogrimar or ironforge jsut for pure shits and giggles. before all this tier-gear bullshit. after wotlk came out i had all but given up hope.

from what there saying wow:c will bring things back and balance things out. it just might be the thing that rekindles an old player like myself

I quit wow cause I got bored annoyed and my guild collapsed for the 10th time... no joke on that number lol.. they made WoTLK way too easy for people to get shit just so that the masses could be happy with a shittier raid. this might bring me back just to check things out how they've changed but Ill probably wait till it comes out to see what people think

Yah i quit wow....im probably gonna reactivate my account lol and xfer to another non fail sever nazgrel fails so bad :( top guild can barely clear anything yet pugs can clear it easily...fail anyways and ill probably change to hord with the faction change :)

well imo wow was ruined by the first expansion and after that its just been getting worse, every time they seem to have balanced it out again and made it a bit difficult to gain gear and progress they F*CK it up again with something stupid like T8,5 gear for tokens that u get from regular HCs... I quit wow cause im getting tired of kids gaining valuable gear and thus making it harder for the rest of us to notice gear as a value mark for players..

Lol, that's what achievements are for and I doubt little kids can't even down the northrend beasts on 25 mans hardmode.

eh, since WoW's subcription rate has topped off they're focusing more on making it easier to level up alts.

I really like the way the game is going. If you're good and have skill, you still get access to gear that little skrubs can't, but wtf does that matter anyway? if they're scrubs who only get gear through badges, you should still be able to trounce them with skill.

Back in yon days it was a horrible grind fest to get anything. God forbid if your account got hacked, your characters deleted by an angry friend/GF, banned, or you decided to switch mains. you would have to start all over again (as you could probably level a new toon before blizz got your account restored, in the case of hacking..) and compete with 40 people each week for loot.

and that's not to mention how raiding only had one viable spec back then.

IMO: game should be fun, not hours of mind numbing farming to go -do- the fun stuff.

Zefo, And I could be wrong, but you sound like a younger kid / teen on the server, so I'll base this off that. This game was made for more of a mature audience, Though it never works out that way, thats what they try for. Fact is, More people prefer the old pre-tbc Grind and farm 24/7. It made the game challanging, take more time, and you wouldn't get as bored. Thus why I run a pre-tbc server. Blizzard won't, and 1000's upon 1000's of people want the pre-tbc days back.


Cataclysm brings back the Pre-TBC days of being in azeroth 24/7, but at what cost? Making it easier to level? only 5 levels this time? re-doing Onyxia? Remaking Ragnaros and adding him into Hyjal? Though They're trying to follow Some of the story line, they're also ruining it, and ruining the game. Don't get me wrong. Deathwings a bad ass and I remember him back in Warcraft 2. Problem is to do it, they're destroying so much.


I'm kinda 50/50 on Cataclysm right now. Sounds good, but ruining alot of other shit. I'm sorry, but TBC / WOTLK start, I always grinded new chars to 60, hit MC and Ony for fun. Now... I can't do that. Cmon. I can't wait to try out Worgens and Goblins and see the new maps though.
