I've noticed that when I spectate people that are using the ak, it seems like they hardly have any recoil with 2-3 round bursts. I generally don't use the ak because I don't like it, but when I do I use 2-3 round bursts when necessary, but I always get a lot of recoil. Idk if it's just me or what, but I was just wondering if it's like that for everyone or what :l

When you spectate someone the camera is not a 1 to 1 match of what the person playing is seeing on their screen. So things like recoil, how they move their mouse around the screen n such will not be shown exactly to how the player is seeing.

Just gotta get them bursts down right and pretty much all 2-3 shots will be accurate... if you spray more than that you're prolly gonna have real hard recoil

I don't really know if what I am gonna say is what you were asking, but I don't really care.


Learn to recoil aim AK, a lot of folks here pull one shots with them, which is fine. For the rest of us, you aim a little left of mid chest level and fire off three shot bursts. You will pull off 2 shots to the arm/chest and then a headshot. The kreig actually has a similar burst pattern, but the grouping is tighter. If you can work out the burst/aim, the kreig is probably the best the gun in the game. It's literally 3 shot burst, know that guy is dead, and move on.

AK F*CKING sucks to me because I love the M4 and with it you aim neck area and go for 2 shot kills.

I don't know, I am kinda drunk and sleepy. All I know is Kreig>M4>AK all day errday.

Make sure you're not watching HLTV either.

After playing GO I use single shot "bursts" more than ever with the AK especially if the target is far away.

The more you play the more you learn how the recoil pattern works. One example is the recoil pattern on the M4 being different with the silencer than without. Since the recoil pattern is more desirable with the silencer on to me I use the silencer. That's also the only thing the silencer for the M4 affects. On a target that is medium-far distance away, I usually use (1-2, 1-2, 1, 1) burst with the AK. The goal here is to land a single headshot, or if the first 2 shots miss you finish them off with two singles to the body. I use this burst pattern with most guns, but the AK more than the rest. With the para for example I do a lot of single shot bursting at long ranges and completely full auto at close range.

If it looks like recoil is low its probably because they're using a similar pattern.

You can also reset your recoil/crosshair by pressing "Q" and swapping weapons. It's probably a bad habit, but I do it on occasion.

Make sure you're either holding shift to walk or crouching when you spray that burst, it's more accurate than without.

I love the Ak. I will take that 1 shot kill any day.
I have almost twice as many kills with the Ak as I do with an M4.
If I see an AK on the ground as a CT. I take that shit.

The AK is by far the best gun in the game (besides the AWP of course) it is way more powerful than the M4 (89 dmg headshots anyone). The reason the M4 is more popular is because it is more accurate with the silencer and you get less recoil. The AK is cheap, powerful, and accurate as hell. Just learn to use it.

I'm sorry, but IMO....the AWP is for faggots, but that's just me :) oh and I like the compact better than the ak :)
I generally use the m4 more than the ak because I'm better with it, but recently I've started to try to use the ak more to try to get used to it

And thank you all for the advice, or telling me what you do when you use the ak. I will definitely try to get better with it

My answer to all people that try to say the AWP is easy to use.
Try to scrim with Luff, Honestly, or I (Also a few others). It's not easy to AWP someone who can use it.
You can't run with it like you can with a scout.

He means scrim against them. Lol.

The AK is a great gun. It's my favorite rifle in the game, by far. Super accurate and fun to use. Just make sure that when you shoot the AK your at a complete stop. Or else accuracy goes out the window. By if course if your up close and personal you can run around and spray. Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_28
