Steam Update on CSS got you mad, try this!
I was browsing around and found this on their site. It's got some hot fixes for some issues and I thought I'd post it in case someone didn't know about it or how to fix it. There are a few issues about the new update and such. So try them out because I am about to. Overall List of Bugs and Quickfixes: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=1319841Rates to help with the new update and rate ceiling: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... ?t=1322910I hope this helps with a lot of people because it was certainly annoying me as well.

Didn't make any difference :/ And rate is capped at 30k. I've been playing with every rate combination to see if something would work, but unholy interp and random lag and registry is the same - ie twice as worse as it ever was before the update.

Oh good, it's not just me with the random lag.
Well, not good, but you get what I mean. This lag pisses me off.

Play in a different server or in ours when it is less populated(under 24 players) and you can tell a LARGE difference.

So since the server was full last night I just messed with the settings on "Create Server". I was still dropping to the low teens on FPS, but better than the single digits before. If it works on the server, or even if not, thanks for the input.

Had so many issues myself, eventually just changed my launch options to "-autoconfig" - seems to be working great now.

Even in the n00bfest deathmatch server there were no issues at all (even made Spidey rage like Kano). It's just in the main.

Thank you so much iceman. That fixed a major issue I was having with the high ping and low fps. It's still a little laggy, but now it's at least playable.
