I just don't understand why most of you hate aztec. Nowadays it is hard to play even a single round on Aztec because it'll be changed to something else.

Is it because it is a one sided map? True, the design is imbalanced to make it a CT sided map, but I can say for certain that Ts have won more rounds than CTs here. As long as the Ts don't hide in their spawn, there is no issue with it.

Even if the map being ct sided is the problem, what about Italy? It's one of the most notorious sided maps in CS, and yet no one seems to have a problem with it. Is it because it lags for some people? For people with shitty cards some times there is a little bit of lag, but inferno, chateau etc. lags even more relatively.

I'm hoping that the irrational aztec hate will come to an end. If you are ok with playing as a CT on Italy, surely you won't have a problem with playing as a T on aztec.

Now join me in my campaign to remove the Aztec hate, and give it the love it deserves.

Compound is as balanced as a cs_ map will ever get, imo. I like aztec, but my shitty graphic card makes me lag on it occasionally. So Reborn, send me a better one. :)

I like aztec a helluva lot more than office.

Aztec > office > italy

I dont care if i get a shitty score on aztec. As long as its while rushing i dont care. Sucks rushing out double doors to the boxes and killing 2 people only to find out your teammates decided to build a base camp back on the other side and watch or smoking and rushing bridge room only to find out the 5 people behind you wanted to try and be Pr0 and snipe invisble targets through smoke... I only rtv because it makes you mad reborn XD

both aztec and italy rock, especially CT on italy and T on aztec

I like aztec, but it can get frusterating as a T because I constantly rush DD or flash rush bridge, and I often get only two or three people with me and we get owned, and the times we secure a site, the bomb is no where to be found and by the time the bomb makes it, cts have rotated and its over. For some reason people will never grasp that if T's nade and flash correctly, they can win 2/3 of the rounds I would guess...ugh

I love Aztec for the challenge. Yea it can be frustrating sometimes, but i love owning everyone in bridge room with a scout!!

Aztec is great when the T's know how to rush but when they sit back the map becomes boring.

compound is a great map, Italy is balanced i rape face on both sides (it's all about the apartment rush), aztec is an ugly map, and you hack so all your points are invalid.

I love rushing double-doors when on T, and I love rushing bridge when CT, or shooting through the double-doors to see how many people I kill in bridge room.

Aztec is the shit and piss on anyone who hates it, it's one of the original CS maps and it reminds me of a better time.
CT's def have the advantage, but T's can be fun trying to rush through double doors with like 20 people.

People should ignore water and only rush bridge or DD's.

The "Tec" centers CS only providing 3 main rush points.
It is what the game is all about.
The only reason I could see someone not liking this map is because of graphic design.
Get the F*CK over it and play the goddamn map and have some F*CKING fun.

I put the N word but the word filter changed it. There's a difference between a respectable African American than a thieving, lying one and that includes white people...anyone can be a N word IMO

Whenever I played aztec when I was really active, one of four things would happen.

1) The server only had 10 people on it, creating a fun 5v5 atmosphere.
2) The server was packed and the CT's and T's were generally evenly matched
3) The server was packed and the T's would roll the CT's
4) The server was packed and the CT's would roll the T's because the T's were camping pussies that chose to wait and die rather than try to rush or do anything productive, making the map frustrating rather than fun.

Scenario 4 was what usually happened the most. Because of this (and because half of the people who enjoy this goddamn map join CT, thus putting me on T side), I always got rolled. Unlike some of you guys, I'm not good enough to carry a team. So whenever the server changed to aztec I always either ran out and got shot by a scout or just waited to die because the T's were pussies. It's just not that fun of a scenario to wait in a clusterfuck around double doors and bridge.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like this map when there aren't that many people on it, but this map really wasn't meant for more than 16 people IMO.

I dunno, maybe things have changed...

I hate it because Reborn loves it so much.
