Just reformatted and reinstalled everything
Downloaded Divx 5.somethingorother codec and installed
got any suggestions on how to fix....uninstalled all codecs and all video players and reinstalled already...it's a no go....

greenman are u using the new nvida drivers? what you need to do is this
go to the nvidia display properties and click advanced when it brings up the menu select color correction then where it says "Apply Color Changes To" select ALL then directly under that make sure all channels is selected in the drop down box then click on restore defaults in the bottom right corner
that should fix it
