Well life has been quite shitty. Im helping my cuz and his roommates move, and well it all whent to hell. At first it's cool, but when we have to go out of state, it pisses me off. So we go to South Carolina, my cuz not checking the oil. radiator fluid, or anything of the sort. He doesn't bring a tool kit, flashlight, or extra water. So we travel to South Carolina, Summersville. The trip goes fine, we load shit in the trailor (u-haul) for 3 hours. Tired, sweaty, and wanting to go home we hop in the truck and take off down the interstate. I turn off the radio and listen to the engine which is sound rough, we pull over and smoke pours from the hood. GOODY!. So..we have no cell phone, for reasons im not going to at the moment. (His roommate, and himself are idiots.) Now as i scan the engine, i say to myself "Ha, what luck, a cracked radiator." Yes, radiator fluid is covering the engine, and the burning stinch still lingers in the air. So we get it towed, im forced to stay at my cuz's strange roomates house. THese people were so damn white. Well the Mechanics call..and not only is the radiator cracked, but there is a blown headgasket. The total bill? 1700$ bucks. Might as well buy a new vehicle for that much. ANyway i finaly got home, thankfuly.

Wait...was the truck overheating? That would be a good place to start if it was headgaskets were a problem. If I were you I'd say screw the headgaskets (unless you pull the dipstick and it like like a milkshake on the stick) Get the radiator fixed w/ hoses...get back home and sell the bastard.

If the Mechanic's knew you were from outta town there more likely to screw you over. I know a bit about being a mechanic...(kinda sorta) I hang out at a shop durring the evenings just about every day. So I do see how they do things and what they can get away with and what they can't.

Thats just my opinion.

how do you think I feel?! i have to TEACH people straight out of bootcamp all about electronics. i think i have it worse. lol. i've seen how C*CK they can be, trust me.
