Post Do you use a cordless mouse?
My friend and I are debating whether or not cordless mice have lag and affect gameplay in CounterStrike. I say yes and they suck, he says no and I'm retarded.

So what do you use and do you think cordless mice cause lag?

Your friend is a douche cougar. It takes a simple Google search and/or owning of at least two of each types of mouses to know that a wired mouse dominates a wireless (Unless there's some bad ass wireless gaming mouse I don't know about). Before the one I have now I had the Logitech Dinovo Media Desktop set (Wireless) and I definitely realize the difference in responses. the wired one does what i want it to when I want it to.

I mean, just stop and think about it...in order for a wireless mouse to have 100% full response like a wired mouse it would almost have to be able to predict your next move by like a thousandth of a second.

I use the mx1000, cordless laser, and I love it... It functions perfectly in game, no lag, no nothing, however this is the only wireless mouse that i've ever seen not lag...

I also use a wireless Logitech. I find that as long as there's line of sight from the receiver to the device, and it's less then 2 feet away from the receiver, there's really no noticeable performance decrease

My Logitech Dinovo combo was bluetooth and i could detach the numpad which made it like a little remote for cuz it had media controls and i could literally walk anywhere in my house and be able to change the music and volume. If you do go wireless, get a bluetooth set

I've compared my LX8 cordless laser to mx518 optical...MX518 ftw without a doubt, movement is more precise.

one by one

Wired will soon be back on top.

Don't get me wrong...there's some badass wireless mouses but leave the wireless to the average PC user. Not hardcore gamers.
