Post Left 4 Dummies
We have been getting alot more full games with n00bs and friends. I thought I would setup a generic info about the game and how to use the vs classes. So you can be better than Gin who has been playing for 2 months now.

Humans:
Try and stay close but not stacked up, if it is your first few times, try and stay in the middle of the group since you will get lost otherwise.
Melee Hunters and Smokers off people instead of shooting unless you have to run more than 3 secs to get to them.
You can shoot threw most wall so try and wall boomers if you hear them.
If you get boomered try and get to your nearest teammate, and then melee to protect youself. Your group should try to find a corner or a wall most of the time when a boomer hits to make the zerg easy and not get raped by humans.
Don't worry about one little smoker or hunter in the back, they will come in due time to you.
Crowning a Witch, you walk up to the witch on the group and shotgun her in the back of the head. Aim upper neck. The autoshotty is the best way if you don't get it in one, you got a few more shots before she gets you.
Killing tanks, if you have fire just burn it and run. Try and kite it around somewhere you can watch your other teammate the tank will die after 30 secs. If you can't tanks can't crouch well so you can rape them if you can force them to crouch.
When picking up teammates low on health or while getting zerged make sure your other teammates are melee blocking so you can get them up so they don't die.

Humans are pretty easy just learn the power of melee.

Infected:

Hunter:
The can wall just if you do a 180 and rejump. giving you faster jump and it is hard for humans to melee you when pouncing on them.
Jumping from high spots and landing on survivors does instant fall damage.
Catching yourself on fire your damage after your pounce someone is 25 damage a tick instead of 5. So if you have an option to catch yourself on fire you normally should
Hunter melee does 10 so if they are grouped up and you would melee off almost instantly it is better to melee with your hunter or it is good to knock someone down with low health since you can run away and pounce the person who tried to get them up.

Smoker:
Pretty straight forward class, one of the hardest to use overall.
Try and pull people out of Line of Sight of other teammate or pull them from high places so they take fall damage.
This class is also one of the few you can catch someone and they can't react to it, if you are in the proper place.
You can fire before the red circle pops up so if your timing a small hole you can shoot before they go red.

Boomer:
This is the key class to winning in vs.
Blinding people and forcing them apart so you can pick them off with your other classes is the key.
Arc your shots higher than you think so you can hit far people and because zombies block bile.
If someone is on the ground by themselves boomer them, they will die without help.
Almost always spawn in front with a boomer. A boomer stuck in the back, can't really catch the survivors and it is easier to pick off a back boomer since their are no zombies in the way to provide cover.

Tank:
The tank in theory is very strong, but good humans in vs can turn a tank into mush so be careful and try not to waste it.
If a whole team has autoshottys don't rush it until they are being attacked by other special infected or throw rocks at range.
Try and bait fires, and if your the first person in control and their is fire between you and the players let someone else have control or wait til the fire dies down.
Hopefully you will get one down or more if they others are running leaving their one downed guy. Protect him and get an hunter to try and kill him to bait them back to you.
You can melee your teammates and kill them so be careful and try not to hit them.
Finally, tanks can hit most cars, forklifts, and the large logs on the ground and move them. If you hit a survivor with one of these they will be instantly incapacitated and it won't kill special infected on them.

Basically just listen up and try and work as a group and you will destroy most pubs.

Great post, very informative for all of the newbies out there who just got the game. The last line is the most important. Things can change quickly and the team must communicate. Once you learn the maps, the rest comes easy. Don't expect to just pick up the game and dominate, Omega. I mean. Ugh. Yeah, Omega.

This should be made a sticky.
