Spore is like $50 or $60, I think its well worth it, even though I haven't "bought" it. I plan to though.

You just register a spore account, and all of your creations are automatically added to the sporepedia under your name.

I'm not buying spore because of the DRM they decided to include. I've heard SecuROM royally fucks with your computer. Also, it's impossible to get rid of SecuROM unless you reformat. I realize it's probably a great game, but I'm not gonna let any game F*CK with my computer.

That article is from May, when the original DRM plan for Spore was for it to phone home every 10 days, and refuse to launch if it couldn't contact the EA servers. The current DRM in Spore only allows you to install Spore 3 times, EVER. As soon as you install it 3 times you need to buy another copy. As someone who tends to re-format his computer often, I cannot accept something like that. This is also why I think Steam is one of the best thing to happen to computer gaming.
