lol had to move this thread due to your hijacking AFRICAN AMERICAN asses :P
I still dont see whats the big deal with fire fox, aside from having a download manager. Fire Fox is a glorified I.E. 7 If I can avoid installing software I dont need, I will.
IE hasnt caused me any probs and Ive been using IE 7 since beta

i really really dislike the download manager ironic i know, but my internet is actually pretty good. Download managers and connection managers (such as game rail) usually slow down my connection even more due to the fact that I already generaly have a low hop count (which is what most connection/download managers do) the only benefit would be multiple connection downloads but still at 500ish kbps download aint too shabby. I did see a feature or 2 that is kinda nice from fire fox but other than that.. its hard drive space i dont need to use up for another browser
IE hasnt given me any probs... i guess after i start having problems will i look into Firefox

It's much slower, and it's a lookalike. Those are the main problems. But waiting for an excuse before doing something is the American way, so who am I to tell you what to do?

Well, it was a great success!
Quote: Thanks to overwhelming demand we’ve passed through 14,000 downloads a minute! This will put us well into the tens of millions of downloads in a 24 hour period if we can sustain it. Each download is about 7MB so that’s around 13 Gigabits/s of just download traffic. Not too shabby!
Jesus Christ, 13GB/s is F*CKING fast! Quote: Mozilla.com web traffic is pushing well over 2 Gigabits a second of just pure HTTP traffic. That is in addition to the 13 Gigabits a second or so of download traffic. We are still at around 14,000 download/minute and mozilla.com is responding well! Go Mozilla community and IT team!
Quote: Thanks to the support of the always amazing Mozilla community, we got more than 8 million Firefox 3 downloads in 24 hours. That’s more Firefox downloads than we’ve ever had in a single day -- an impressive feat indeed! Please be patient while the good people of Guinness review our World Record attempt. This might take a few days so please check back here. And, a huge thanks for all of your support!

I think the record for most Firefox 3 downloads is currently however many Firefox 3 downloads have been made.
