 Q about Credit So i'm going to be getting a new bike at the end of feb and i was wondering if anyone can give me some tips to help out my credit so i can get a lower apr. I don't know if this is true or not but just thought i'd hear what some have to say.

Credit is a slow moving organism. You can't do shit right now that'll help your credit score at the end of February.
If you want to boost your credit score, though, get a credit card and be smart with it. Only put a few hundred bucks (or whatever you buy gas/groceries/etc with) on it every month and pay it off every month. NEVER leave a balance. Always pay it off.

If you have someone co-sign with you. You will get lower APR. For example if your parents have good credit that would help you out.

I was told that if your credit cards have a zero balance and your bank account has a higher amount of money in it when you apply it looks better. Try this. Go to americanexpress.com and apply for their charge cards. If you get approved, you have good credit. If you dont, well follow what Gman says.
