 I love Washington! There's maybe two inches of snow on the ground this morning, and NAS Whidbey Island is completely closed down! NO WORK TODAY! Ahh, how I've missed things closing down for two inches of snow!

Must be nice. Only time they close stuff down around here is for 12" or better. Growing up they never closed down school. I moved to the city and they shut school down once a week for snow.

Yeah...that's Michigan, though. I remember when I was younger, growing up in Wisconsin, walking to school in a foot of snow...so yeah...I know how it is.

I went up to washington like 2 years ago.
I love it. Beautiful state. Went in mid-july, weather was phenomenal.

Bad part about Michigan is not the snow, its the snow, then rain, then snow, then rain, then snow, then gay secks.
Last month I was able to ice fish one day and fish from my canoe the next. 10 degrees one day and 60 the next. Right now its 40 degrees and 10:30 at night, last night this time it was 26 but felt like 15. Good ol Michigan.
Oh and even worse than all that, I grew up on a farm in a small farming community. There we had no snow plows, just farmers and their tractors. They cleaned the roads, there was no road commission. School was never canceled. You always had to go to work. Most parking lots had more tractors, ATVs and snowmobiles than actual cars. And the thats not including the gay farmers. Every time I went to pasture all the sheep and cows backed up to the fence. weird.
