I was going to buy one, but there's a total of 2 games that support it.
I just don't think it's worth it yet. I was going to buy one, but there's a total of 0 open PCI ports I can plug it in to on my computer. I just don't think it's worth it yet. _________________ I got a sex change. |

I have one and its pretty much useless i have the BFG one i got it from best buy for 199.99 i think the only reason i bought it was to play cell factor... the game is the pwn but no online play as of yet but they may add it in a patch who knows. Its not worth it to be honest but hell i like having all the toys

Speaking of the Killer card I was just talking about:
PROBLEM: When installing the Killer NIC (M1 or K1) into a Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard, the installer will report "No Killer NIC Detected" ISSUE: This Asus motherboard does not follow PCI power standards. The Killer NIC can not power on properly using older firmware versions. RESOLUTION: 1. If the customer has a second computer, this method should be used: An adjustment was made for this motherboard in version 3.0.1.2 of the Killer Software Suite. The customer should download this version (or later) for the operating system they are using from the downloads section of www.killernic.com/support. This software should be downloaded to the SECOND computer. The Killer should then be installed normally. Upon successful installation, the Killer can be installed into the computer using the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe motherboard. Note, the Asus system should also use version 3.0.1.2 or later Killer software suite. 2. If the customer does not have a second computer, they should contact support for an exchange with an updated Killer NIC. Freaking WOW. |
