Does the pie-in-my-face system still apply to n00bfest?

My initial thought was to remove ALL admins and start from ZERO. Everyone would have to earn their admin powers all over again.

There will be new rules, there will be new ranks, there will be new punishments for abuse/misuse.

I had to abort the concept of removing all admins because I cannot babysit the server and protect it single-handedly while the changes take place. I needed a core of individuals to support the server and keep it safe while I figure things out.

Here's who stayed on the list:
Regular donors and server sponsors (DUH!)
People who financially support n00bfest deserve some special consideration. Pinoy was spared because i just couldn't bring myself to remove his admin 2 days after he made his first donation to the community. While donations will probably be ONE way that people can get admin in the future, abuse will still get it revoked with no refunds. Donations do not mean you are guaranteed to get admin, but it's a good gesture of someone's concern for the long life of [n00b].

Staff members
Those who actually perform chores for the [n00b] servers and website.

Long Time Trusted Admins
These are the most active on the list. There are actually many admins that are long time trusted friends of n00bfest, but that is not good enough to make you an admin anymore. You need to be active on a regular basis, be level-headed, and show good judgement. Just being here for a long time and not getting in trouble will NOT earn you admin.

People I know Personally
There are a few on the list (and probably more to come) that are allowed to remain because i know them or have met them in real life. We have each other's phone numbers and we have a personal relationship that makes me feel comfortable giving them authority over something that is mine.

Simply "not doing anything wrong" is not a good enough reason to leave everyone on the list. There's no need for us to have 200 admins. Just because people play here does not entitle them to eventually get admin powers. You have to earn it, and prove that you're worthy. While many have already proven it and probably deserve it, I will not make those individual decisions in the course of 24 hours. I need to figure out how many admins I need for the main server, and determine who plays in what timeslot, and then I'll decide who I want. Obviously, there's plenty of people to choose from.

If it's causing that many hard feelings, I can further reduce the number of admins based solely on those who have an activity level that meets a certain requirement. I will not, however, start giving admin back to people just because they haven't f**ked up. "Not f**king up" is not the same as "standing out".

I can not say HOW MUCH I APPROVE this decision. If there was one thing i never really thought good here was that many admins. It can't work like that and we got exactly what you said is happening.

Admins are much more than only good guys and no trouble makers... and after all that... when people get an ADMIN status they will really understand they are special and need to correspond with the authority been given and will feel proud of it.

Wow! I didnt see that coming. I gave noclip once for a guy cuz Joe asked. I really didnt see if the had tked some1. Any way, I am sorry n I apologize if I did. Make Vision's my words too. And I did not see any1 complaining, actually I didnt even stay that long playing.

I'm glad this cleaning has come, I'm sure it's for a greater good. I hope this clarifies my part and I may get back my powers. It's just sad that after playing here for 3 years, donating little but surely (even unemployed for months), and seeing so much shit being done by high-rank admins, I lost my powers the 2nd time I use a new command after a promotion.
