[1] Processor looks good but unless your gonna be multi-tasking you wont see any benefit's.You can get a faster single core for alot less mullah.

[2] Motherboard is about 100 bucks too much.I would find something around 100 bucks or under. You have to ask yourself do you really plan to buy another video card or not.In general sli will only net you a few frames more in actual games than a single card of the same price range.

[3] The video card you chose looks to be a very good budget card. This can all come down to prefrenece between ati or nvidia. If you could stand to put 50 or so dollars more in the gpu im sure you could see a big performance gain. But the 7600gt should play any games out today.

[4] Ram is probably the most overlooked thing in a gaming system. The ram you have selected is fine for granma's system but it's not gonna help you out any.DDR 2 is still unproven and slow.I would get 2 gigs of quality ddr 400.Cheap ram will run fine but at shitty timings,if your gonna game you need to run tight timing's.That means quality ram, expect to pay 100 to 150 a gig.

[5] Case is all about preference. The psu that come's with that case will probably do you for while if your trying to save some lettuce but i would upgrade as soon as possible. If you plan to over clock at all i would go ahead and get something better.Unless you have 4 hdd and 3 or 4 optical drives you should have enough power for now.

That's where I bought my PC from when I was still in school and my rig died on me right before finals about a year and a half ago. Cyberpower is excellent, so I'd tell anyone to buy a computer there if you're not so inclined to build one.

I agree with all your choices but the Dual Core processor. They usually have problems with games, and are sometimes hard to fix. Are you planning on O/Cing your box? If so, that should have some impact on what AMD processor you run because of the different cores. Some cores are just better able to be overclocked than others.

Other than that, I've been considering using almost the exact same components that you are thinking of using from NewEgg.
