lol, you know smoking a blunt is about equal to three cigarettes in terms of tar. You're about as likely to get cancer from weed (dependant on how you smoke it) as you are from cigs.

people who smoke cigs smoke 20-40 or more in a day. most people who smoke weed only smoke a blunt or two a day. There are some pot smokers such as my self who only smoke a bowl or a half a joint every few days... I get a 1/4 ounc of some good shit that lasts me more than a month.

I dont buy i just know who and how to get it for free so. Plus i dont have to worry about getting tested at all, But i still dont smoke that often anymore.

I think the numbers are inflated.. what percentage of pot smokers do so just because of the thrill/risk involved?

how many more will resort to growing thier own to "stick it to the man". I know i'm not gonna start paying tax on somthing i already have. Besides once you have a decently recent tax stamp on whatever they package it in, you cn just carry your own.. and since its legal to possess(i assume with a tax stamp) the penalties for getting caught with a quarter go away.

and yes the published "scientific" evidence that pot is more harmful than cigarettes has been manipulated and flawed. maybe it has more tar than the equivalent amount of tobacco, but has that tar been proven to cause cancer like cigarettes? no.

and geno is right; who the F*CK smokes as much pot as people do cigarettes? nicotine is super addictive, especially when companies put shitloads of chemicals (many carcinogens) into the tobacco to maximize the nicotine's effect. pot is not addictive, it just makes you lazy.

well massachusetts decriminalizes marijuana just a little while ago and i think it was a smart move.

Personally, I don't think the majority of our society can handle substances like pot, alcohol, and cigarettes. Our society is so far removed from moderation and obsessed with over-doing things I don't think we could handle something like this for at least 50 years from a cultural standpoint and that's only if we started reforming our society now..

I'm just stating a ratio of tar from cigarettes to blunts. I didn't say people smoked as many blunts as cigarettes. Please don't irrationally refute points I never even made ;].

on average I smoke about a pack of blunts a day (Which is 5 cigars) and I smoke a pack of cigs a day. I wonder what my chances of getting cancer are...I would like to quit smokin cigs soon though, it's just really F*CKIN hard.
