Has just asked Green Bay to release him so he can play for another team this season. The only 2 names that have popped up so far are Chicago and Minnesota. My vote is the Vikings. Discuss.

Playing for rival teams? That's inconceivable. He will most likely go to the Ravens or the Jets, and I'm praying it's to the Ravens. :)

BTW his release hasn't been granted yet he's only asked for it.

I swear the guy is using HGH but that is only MY opinion. If he goes anywhere outside of Green Bay I think he'll get caught.

I'm a die-hard Green Bay fan, have been ever since I can remember...but this whole Brett Favre "I'm going to retire after this season", then after the season (3 weeks before pre-camps and such), "Nah, I'm not retiring", next season, "This is my last season" "No, it's not...I want to play still" is getting ridiculous!
As far as him wanting to get let go by then...who cares anymore?! I think most of the Green Bay fans (in WI, at least) share my sediment.

Jets? He wants a ring, the Jets have no chance. The Ravens are better, but will they have a chance to beat the Pats or the Colts?

He'll stay in the NFC. The Vikes are easily in a position to do some serious damage... if they had a QB. A beastly defense. The best run game in the NFC hands down. The offensive line is one of the best in the NFL. The WR core is suspect, but with a run game like they have, and the speed the WR's have, they can really stretch the field and cause a lot of problems for a lot of teams.

He will NOT go to the Vikings; that is TREASON.

They only thing Farve is waiting on is the Commish to reinstate him. He would be placed on the active roster then, and there is the possibility that he could be traded. But he can always play the "release me or I'll retire again" card and that would only hurt Green Bay. i see them letting him go, and on that list... who would you want to play for?
