Comments: I heard about your community from a friend of mine I've been playing CS:S with for a couple years now, and I'm really interested in becoming a part. In terms of gaming experience with CS:S I've been main (WookieArmor) as well as IM numerous times with various teams. I also play WoW, TF2, BF2, Bad Company 2, and LoL.

My general interests are:
-Graphics Design
-Chicago Whitesox / Blackhawks
-Blowing sh*t up with my mind
-Making little boys cry
-Making little boys' parents cry
-Making people feel incredibly awkward
-Drawing phallic shapes on peoples windows
-Humping my monitor whenever a boomheadshotwtfrape occurs.
-Reciting various excerpts of 'A Catcher In The Rye' out loud in public instead of responding to someone with general chit chat.

1st off you want to explain what this X2-Anti Cheat Ban is for.

2nd you only have 6 hours of playtime so re-apply in a week or so when your play time is higher.

x2 anti cheat? I'm sorry, but the only way I could have possibly have been banned at all is by a human being. If it's an automated ban, I have literally no idea, since I haven't hacked even once in all of my cs 1.6 or css careers, even on older steam ids (which were before i actually owned the game, friend id's).

Also, I expect to play in this server regularly, so please keep this application open.

Another thing, when you actually play with me, you'll see I'm rusty and suck too bad to hack. I can fully explain my play style and could even take a vid when I get back up to speed if you'd like.

I really hope you msg me back because I literally have no clue what X2 Anti Cheat is, but i'm almost 100% sure it's probably just a collective ban list...I used to get banned from servers quite a bit and actually made a point to do so when I played competitively.

When you google your steam id it says you were banned from server and the reason is X2-Anti Cheat Ban. personally I have no idea what X2 is just what popped up when I googled your steam id.

Well, since it's been a bit of time since i posted, was wondering if I look like a hot, sexy man ready and willing for n00b.

To be clear (even though you can believe what you want) I have never been vac'ed on any accounts i've played on, nor used any hacks of any kind (other than custom crosshair OFF of competition play). Any bans shown in google searches will be admin global bans to various community servers including FAA and NuclearFallout servers, mainly from accusations of walls or aimbotting, but completely unfounded.

So far the community has been really fun and even if it takes a lil' longer i'll stick around and hang.

Hello and welcome to n00bfest!

The reason you have received this message is because you have been accepted as a [rct] of n00bfest - this means that you are now a recruit for the [n00b] tag and all that comes with it.

There are, however, a couple of things that are required of you to get into n00bfest and receive the [n00b] tag.

  • You will have to be active both in the game server and the forum. This means posting replies to threads you find interesting that will add to the conversation - it does not mean spam "lol," "haha," or many other one word responses simply to raise your post count.
  • Read the rules and obey them. As a council, we check up on how the admins respond to you; if you get banned for something stupid like team killing or talking back to an admin, you will heavily reduce your chances of getting into n00bfest.
  • Read the previous rule again, and understand that there is going to be some hazing. If you catch any shit from an admin, understand that it's not a personal vendetta against you; it's just our way of making sure that you can take a little bit of abuse and harassment without blowing up and acting like a douchebag. If you're not OK with that, then get in contact with myself or any other Council member and we can discuss it in further detail. If you feel an admin is out of line, send an email to elders(at)n00bfest.com and it will be addressed. Do NOT make a thread on the forum bitching out an admin or any other member. Such flagrant douchebaggery will not be tolerated and will likely result in a ban.
  • Do not ask when your [rct] period will be over. That information is for us to know and you to find out -- if and when you're accepted into [n00b].
  • Please respond to this message. We need to know that you actually got the message and that you understand what is required of you. Once you respond, you may wear the [rct] tag and take your first step into earning n00bdom.

If you have any questions, please send me or any of the other council members a PM. All n00bfest council members have yellow names on the forum.
