Comments: I've been playing on the server for a couple of years now, and I'm sure many current [n00b] members have seen me on the server quite frequently. It's by far and away the best CS:S server I've played on, which is why I've stuck with it. I enjoy the fact that the server is almost always well-populated, allows team attacking, and has some cool maps I haven't seen anywhere else. Admittedly, I don't have any prior posts on the forums so I can imagine you will wait to make a decision on me based on that, and I'll hopefully get busy on the forums. My alias describes me well: I'm going for a masters in Meteorology at Iowa State. I've been seen in various 0.1 second clips on the Discovery Channel's show, Storm Chasers.

The reason you have received this message is because you have been accepted as a [rct] of n00bfest - this means that you are now a recruit for the [n00b] tag and all that comes with it.

There are, however, a couple of things that are required of you to get into n00bfest and receive the [n00b] tag.

• You will have to be active both in the game server and the forum. This means posting replies to threads you find interesting that will add to the conversation - it does not mean spam "lol," "haha," or many other one word responses simply to raise your post count.
  
• Read the rules and obey them. As a council, we check up on how the admins respond to you; if you get banned for something stupid like team killing or talking back to an admin, you will heavily reduce your chances of getting into n00bfest.
  
• Do not ask when your [rct] period will be over. That information is for us to know and you to find out -- if and when you're accepted into [n00b].
  
• Please respond to this message. We need to know that you actually got the message and that you understand what is required of you. Once you respond, you may wear the [rct] tag and take your first step into earning n00bdom.
