I dont know if this is the right place to post, but I just got admin, and was wondering if there was anything that I could do to make it faster. I mean like binding things so I dont have to hit ~ and then type out every command and have a sheet of paper next to me incase I forget. If any admins have any suggestions, that'd be great. thanks |

Memorize commands. Elders don't like seeing admin command binds unless it's to advertise or -voicerecord. Careful as to what you bind grashopper, I'm sure theres an admin command list around here somewhere too... |

I don't use any binds. You can always use admin_help while you're dead if you wanna check commands or something. Other than that, commands are usually pretty self-explanetory. [EDIT] Actually, I use one bind, which is admin_userlist. |

because people like to camp with the bomb/camp when they're SUPPOSED to be getting the bomb/camp when supposed to be rescuing hostages. pretty much, if you dont know WHY you would need this, you dont know much about n00bfest. |

Never bind an "rcon" command, as Turtle did... He clicked his bind without putting in the password, though it wasn't working and pushed it some more. Well, 5 more bind key presses later he sees a screen saying "added to the ban list" also, if anyone (non-n00b) ever asks for a good bind to put in thier console, I prefer: bind "w" "+forward; rcon mp_freezetime 1" it looks legit to someone who has no clue what they are doing AND it looks cool with "freezetime" (omg stop time in CZ!!) well, about 10 presses of w and there goes that player... |
