So last night I turn off my computer to go to sleep, right? Great. I wake up this morning, go to work, and come back home. I decide to hop on the server for a second. I hit my computer's power button. No lights. Hmm. Odd. I look at my surge protector. The light is on. It's plugged in. I turn it off and turn it back on. My monitor comes on fine. I unplugged my computer and took it into my brother's room to try and plug it in there. Plugged it in. Won't come on. It's not set to euro-trash voltage. The power switch on the back is on; I've even flipped it. I opened it up and everything is plugged in securely. All the power cables are going into the mobo just fine.

When I turn it on, it doesn't beep or anything. No fans move. Nothing. It's just dead. Remember: nobody's touched it since I last turned it off. I just hit start, shut down, and turned it off that way. It's been on a surge protector this whole time, too.

As funny as it sounds.... I've got a 3 year warranty on my power supply. I'm thinking that's what I need to replace. OCZ ModStream power supply, in case anyone is curious.

For sure! It's got to be your power supply. Not a doubt in my mind. I had the same problem about 3 years ago. It acted fine, and then one day it would not turn on.

I just scanned a few reviews on newegg and there were 2 other people in your boat with that PS. One died in 10 hours and the other in a couple weeks.
