Well, this morning I updated my ATI Catalyst Control Center from version 5.13 to 6.1. I then changed my desktop to 16-bit color and turned all my anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering, mipmap detail, etc. to max settings. My game runs much much faster now, but it has become annoyingly unresponsive. Byt his I mean that I am firing, and I kill, but when I let go it continues to fire a number of rounds before it stops, during this time I cannot move, stand up, or change where I'm aiming. Other situations include while I'm strafing, I'll strafe around a corner and back, but instead of going back it continues to move out into the open. At times it's almost laglike, but my ping is absolutely fine. Even my typing, as I type it, is sometimes delayed, does anyone have a clue as to what is going on? |

Try modifing the settings a little. Turn down anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering to about mid level. See what that does for you. |

How is it that these don't lower my frame rate but make my game unresponsive? I'll try that, not sure how thats supposed to do anything. EDIT: Didn't work. It's being gay as ever. EDIT: Reinstalled previous version of ATI Catalyst Control Center, everything works fine, thanks Gman. |
