this damn trojan has been my McAfee go crazy. and i cant deleted because it's "write-protected." wtf does that mean?

Took me about an hour to remove that from my great aunt's computer... 'cause it kept coming back. The key is to disable windows system restore and get rid of it, then re-enable system restore.
