Get high speed internet. When you get highspeed internet, don't connect to AOL while you're playing CS. It will lag you out. |

Turn off all programs. alt+ctrl+del and remove any running programs that you don't need. You can also reduce lag by running the lowest settings in cz, and turnning your smoke off. Also you starting programs, check those and remove any you don't need to start up. Go to start>run and type msconfig That should let you manipulate what starts up and doesn't. |

Also running very bright and image occupied wallpapers can slow you down, screensavers, and xp themes. If your computer lags, i would just got standard classic windows theme. This will speed up your system. Wallpapers, themes, and other things can take up active memory, and you don't want that if your computer is a noob machine. |

msconfig and uncheck anyshit you odnt need at startup so you dont have to control alt delte it |
