I just got a new graphics card that suggests 500w, and I currently have a 300w. I figure that I might as well upgrade my PSU more than 500w, so in the 600-700w range. Price-wise, preferably no more than 80$, definitely no more than 90$. Any suggestions? If you can get a modular one I would recommend trying for that aswell. Having the ability to only have the cables needed saves so much space in your case if it's small like mine is. |

Definitely go modular with 600+ watts. also keep in mind peak wattage is not the most important thing, the Amps on the +12V rail (s) is more important |

Here's the holy grail for PSU's Garrett. http://www.overclock.net/t/183810/faq-recommended-power-supplies Use that list as a reference to buying your PSU, it will be of great help when trying to determine if the PSU's you find online are worth the investment |
