Alright I have an iPhone 4 and my mother wants to buy me the new iPhone 4S for Christmas. But I have heard there is nothing better about the iPhone 4S that I can't do on my iPhone 4. So what I want to know is there a smart phone out there that is worth me getting rid of my iPhone? |

Sweet Pea might try to point you in another direction. Yes you are kinda right becuase Iphone4S has like 1-2 new features. 1, better camera... and 2. Siri, which is fun to use and shit like that but it because stale after awhile unless you are like super busy or like a doctor like my dad's friend is who he uses siri all the time. honestly I would say keep ur Iphone4 or let ur parents geting you the 4S *shurgs* |

do some research on Samsung Galaxy S II. I bought HTC Amaze 4G - it's good, but not worth the money. |

No. The biggest difference between the 4 and the 4s is that the 4S comes with Siri and a faster process (built to handle siri). IMHO and from experience - iPhones have less issues. But if she were to get you a new device. Then you will either want the Droid RAZR or the Nexus Prime thats set to launch sometime soon with the new Android OS Icecream Sandwich. Icecream sandwhich is very very sexy from what I have seen (hands on). So honestly, either say that you will take a rain check and have her buy you the iphone 5 when it comes out, or say yes to the first icecream sandwich phone - the Nexus Prime |

Also if you have 4G coverage in your area (like in the thick of it, not in a "fringe" area) then definitely go with the nexus prime. If you aren't sure call customer service and ask them, ask them specifically whether or not you are in a fringe area and make sure they have the correct address. You may also want to find a friend/family member that has a 4G device from Verizon, have them bring it over to do some speed/signal tests. |

I just got the 4s about a week ago and its awesome, granted i upgraded from an old 3g. From what I can tell the processing power and the multitasking is much better in the 4s. im not sure how the basic iphone 4 model handles switching between tasks, but in the 4s I can open one app switch to another and come back to the exact spot I was in in the first one (something most android phones do well, but Iphone hasnt done in the past). the ONLY limitation from a speed side to the iphone is the 3g, the internet is fast as shit when your on wifi but 3g is 3g and has its own limitations regardless of what phone you have IMO. and in 2 years when your phone contract is up your going to be less behind the curve with a 4s vs a 4, thats why i got it and not the 4 |

The differences between 4 & 4S are minute. |

BUT BUT WAIT!!!! One hidden benefit is this, if you currently have an unlimited data plan and wish to get a 4G android device then you can get unlimited mobile hotspot for and extra $30 per month. I do not know if that pricing will hold true to the iphone 5 when it launches, assuming it would have a LTE radio in it for 4G. Also, the iphone 5 at best would probably launch next summer or later. (speculation) |

If you wait for the iPhone 5 its going to be another device that is a year behind the times. The 4s should have come out last year to be relevant. This sums it all up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL7yD-0pqZg |
