My college used these as our official laptops....they're okay...but I would never personally recommend them. When it comes to Laptops be smart, stick with ASUS. |

Yeah, I only thought about it because the specs are decent and the gimmick of buying a laptop called an Elitebook for $1337.99 was enticing. ASUS is killer shit. |

If someone asks for it fine. I think it would be better suited to keep the "want to but some kidneys?" Stuff to pms for various reasons, however. True, it is not nice to move my laptop around as it's heavy as F*CK. It also does heat up quick but luckily the vent and fan systems cool it off quick after I'm done gaming but the noise is not so friendly to anyone around you. The portable heating aspect is nice though, since I am in a cold state and in a cold unfinished basement it comes in handy loloolol. As for out of date this one is still keeping up fairly nice but indeed it will be obsolete and unable to run much soon, I give it to the end of 2012. To really round it off, a gaming laptop isn't the greatest idea if you're going to be in college and moving around with your laptop. It's nice because is effectively consolidates all your computing but realistically outside of the college realm a gaming laptop is for the most part redundant as a desktop is more suited (unless you're someone who I don't know, is dirtbag and goes on business trips every F*CKING week). |
