Well, from what I've heard/read is that Windows 7 has a dynamic TCP type deal, where it fixes/tweaks itself. Also, from a quick look at the article, I'm going to go with "if ain't broke, don't fix it" |

I've been trying these tweaks since the win98 days. It worked like magic on dial up, but on cable, I have never noticed a bit of difference. On a good server, I've always hit the cap, without doing any tweaks (and the tweaks made no difference). |

You can really F*CK your shit up with some of these, so create a restore point prior to hackin'. I messed with it way back when I was a serious competitive gamer on WinXP/98, but honestly didn't see too much diff (broadband of course). If you're on decent broadband connect tweakin some of this stuff for throughput doesnt make sense IMO. |
