So recently 420 has made a twl team, and I have been throwing around the idea of making a forum just for the team to discuss strats and what not that wouldnt clog up the forums, the subclan 420 forum, and also not to recieve too much input from a broad user base (5 pages of dust2 strats). I wanted to do some research before bringing it up within the group and could see some value in us having a small section outside of normal use. So does anyone know of any free forums/solutions? I don't wanted to bother the community to support a small group of players and we may just use our 420 subclan page, just looking for some options.

You could also make a private IRC channel and use that.

Or you could even use the "SHOUTOUT" chat feature on this website.

Also, you could create a set of google docs and invite just the 420 members to edit them (lots of file types you can edit online) and at the same time chat via text/voice/video right on the google.com website.

We have a subclan forum for a reason, there is no need at all to start having multiples of shit.

Use what you have.

There are only so many strats that you are going to run per map. Even at the most extreme you are going to have 15, and that is an EXTREME. Just have a thread per map in your subclan forum and have those threads link as an announcement so when they die off and get set in stone, it is still at the top of the forum and your team can look through the individual threads for maps and have posts for names of spots(very important because every team likes to make up their own names for certain spots, in PSA, we have to have a vagina in almost every map just because there is always that one narrow space somewhere on every map that really doesn't have a solid name.), where to play, basic strats, and then the intricate strats.

thanks spyda thats along the lines i was thinking but that took it a step forward and taz i get that, that is y we have sub clan forum i just didnt want to clog it up with alot of scrimming stuff for the the people who are not scrimming and again it is just waying some options. Hey Kwang I was looking at the irc just for getting scrims and stuff but dont you have to pay for the server???? Tazz I had some ideas after reading the text that might be cool to talk about.

You can make an IRC channel for free on that website, you just have to know how to run it and have people idle it often enough so it doesn't get deleted.
