Offsite backups
This question is for my company. We are looking to move to offsite backups instead of our current tape rotation setup. We back our 3 servers up to tape and store them offsite. For a small business this is ok, but we have out grown that imo. So, my question is: has anyone used any offsite backup services at a business level. What company did you use, etc. etc.
Further info: We are backing up about 250 GB currently.
Thanks,
Goodkat

Re: Offsite backups
We do a full rack of tapes daily to Iron Mountain, have evaluated "online backup" services, and the powers that be like things how they are. Then again we're on 10 year old e-mail software and do most of our business on a 30 year old server. So take that for what it's worth :)

Re: Offsite backups
I hear ya. Although, I can't complain, we keep our stuff up to date. We do full upgrades and server additions every 2 years at minimum. We back up all three of our servers to 2 tapes once a day. Online backup services will just make my job easier and take some of the responsibility off my shoulders.
