Can anyone help? Checked steam forums, no such topic... Basically since the update (yes, H!hgh, it was after) - everytime the bomb blows, as soon as it does, HL2.exe crashes. Go go power n00btechsupport help! |

hmmm..... best i can think of is to lower your video settings (like texture detail, anti-aliasing, etc.) and see if that works. what are your system specs? i.e. gpu, cpu, ram |

F*CK. Did a reinstall, changed settings, still crashed. specs Dell Inspiron 530 2.5 ghz, 4gb ATI 3400, latest drivers, antialiasing all off, texture in game all on low (HDR off) |

Friday night is CSS night damnit. Guess I'll just join when it's hosties. Wtf is up with my crosshair dissapearing - anyone else? Seriously...wtf update. |

I've heard of both and there is a "solution" to the crosshair.. From what i've heard type cl_crosshairscale 1 to get it back.. As for the bomb... Sounds like you should drop all video settings to min. Then slowly build up until crash.. |

Thanks mossy - actually, I figured it out late last night. THen promptly got (I hope) accidentally banned. In the Set Launch Options, I deleted my strings there and replaced with: "-autoconfig" Works beautifully now, just have to increase brightness every game. NO biggie. Thanks for the help - see y'all on the flip side when/if I get unbanned
