Apologies forbad grammar i am typing on my iPod. Well i reseated my cpu f/hs today ans put it all back together. Sadly i now get no picture or beeps but the post code reader shows code E8. I followed googles instructions to reseat and swap ram, reseat cpu and heatsink but it does not work. Now i have no computer :( any help would be uber 1447. Thanks guys. |

The first and the third sockets are black, while the second and the fourth are gray. In order to achieve the maximum performance you should install two or four memory modules in order to enable dual-channel architecture. When only two modules are used make sure to install them on the grey sockets. If you install them on the black ones the computer won’t turn on and the POST display will show “E8” code. |

Also, reseat the F*CK out of the ram, and make sure they're 100% in. |

Tried all that, sadly it didnt work. I put in an RMA with EVGA since its still under warranty. With luck, i will be back online in 2 weeks. |
