Post subject:  vent client setup
During yesterdays tournament my vent client was crashing (Not Responding). At some point is screwed my pc so bad that I didn't even hear voice/sounds in the CS:S (not even a gun fire). I have Win 7 Pro 64-bit. We had a lot of folks on the vent server and bad configuration in the client might be a problem. I posted screen shots from my client. Let me know if any of the settings should be changed.

under voice check both boxes that say use direct sound

under input/output device select your sound card

under mixer put your sound card
mux is recording control
line is microphone

see if that helps

Thanks. I didn't have issues with vent until the tournament. Will see if it help with next bigger event at n00bfest.
