Post subject:  Hacked MW2 server screwed my game up
So I click on Ground War and I enter the game and I can instantly tell something's wrong. First, I only have a gold deagle and I can't run, my senstivity is WAY up, my radar is gone and my resolution is probably 800x600 or even 640x480 and I can see 3 white numbers which are most probably my co-ordinates. Looks like it was hacked to be like a Goldeneye 64 clone or some shit.

Anyhow, I have to close task from task manager since I can't even leave the game and I start my MW2 up again, fix resolution and sensitivity and try to join the game. It seems to be ok except for the fact that I still have a blank radar (I see the square but there's nothing in there) and I can also still see the coordinates.

Oh and free MW2 weekend is the stupidest thing I've heard. God damn near everyone is hacking.

oh yes, and did the "delete local game content" and reinstalled... no go

steam/steamapps/common/callofdutymodernwarfare2/players then delete your config_mp. O and do this with out the game open. When you start it back up it will write you a new config. Steam saves your config for mw2 so that you can just dl it anywere and go to town. unlike with css were you have to back up your config and autoexec.
